Wastewater Spill Contaminates Two Residential Properties in Bailey Colorado

The Park County environmental health department issued this notification regarding an unintentional discharge of treated wastewater:
The discharge was reported to the County on Thursday July 11, 2024. The Park County board of County Commissioners added an off the record discussion of the incident to the work session agenda held on Tuesday July 16. The discussion revealed that 25,000 gallons of treated wastewater was discharged onto the adjacent private residential properties.
