Richard Elsner resigns as Treasurer from the CO State Republican Party

On October 24, 2022, the Park County Beacon received an email from Kristi Burton Brown regarding the resignation of Richard Elsner, appointed Treasurer of the Republican party of the State of Colorado. This is the content of the email:

"Hello Cyndie,

Thank you for reaching out about your situation in Park County. I agree that Republicans must unite to elect Republicans. After a conversation with Dick Elsner, he has submitted his resignation. I thanked him for his years of service to the Colorado GOP. I also agree with you that it is not acceptable for an officer of the State Party to endorse a Democrat. Thanks for reaching out, KBB

This email was in response to a series of emails sent by Cyndie Sherriff, in which the files below questioned the behavior of an appointed officer of the GOP and in violation of the bylaws of the State Republican organization.
